All in one card!

Phew! This card took some planning - I don't have a lot of time for crafting right now so I wanted to combine a few of my favorite challenges! So for this card I've used the sketch from Waltzing Mouse Sketch challenge. I used stamps from Teeny trees both for the background and for the sentiment. For tha label I used Vintage Lables 4. The colors, light yellow, light blue and kraft are from CR84FN29. I used scallops for Let's ink it Up (I was so sad to learn that Suzan is not feeling well and that this will be her last challenge - wish her a speedy recovery and I'll miss Let's Ink it Up - lots of great inspiration there) and I used 2 patterned papers, 4 buttons and 6 layers for The Shabby Tearoom and at Simon Says Stamp and show - it's "use your favorite stamp" and right now it is the bg stamp from the Papillon set from Tim Holtz - just soo useful for making your own vintagey paper - love it!!!
Another thing I love is the new TS punch I got from Cecilia at Cili in Papers - my rose is made from that petal pair punch!
Have a great day!

A CAS With Sympathy card.

At PTI's Make it Monday Dawn McVey gave us great tips for how to make Sympathy cards and challenged us to make our own. Here's my card - I kept it very CAS for the Kraft Journal's cas challenge.
Stamps are from PTI; Button Boutique, Daily design sentiments and Tag its 2.

Double inspiration!

This card is for the Chevron challenge at a Moxie Fab World and for Wee Memorie's challenge to find inspiration from Etsy or Printerest. First I didn't think the chevron pattern was really me but when I saw these pictures I really fell in love with it.

Chose vellum for my little note, but thought I should show the card without it too!

With Sympathy

Here's my Sympathy card for Make it Monday at PTI. I thought the PlayDate Cafe's colors this week worked perfect for such a card!
I've used Polka dot basics paper, the text embossing plate for the bg, Tag its 2, and Everyday sentiments

New Tonic Studios punches!

Cili in Papers sells Tonic Studios great products and last week-end I got a set of the petal pair punches to play with   (-:  It's amazing how many different kinds of 3d flowers you can make from just a few of their flower punches. Here's my first try at making roses - after a bit of chalking and distressing I think they turned out quite ok!
The colors I've used for this card are from CR84FN29 and the sketch  is from CPS. I will also enter it for Really Reasonable Ribbons Challenge and Wee Memorie's Stamp it challenge. (for this card I've used stamps from Tim Holtz, Waltzing Mouse, Mark's Finest Paper and Crafty Secrets)

Have a great day!

Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop

Here's my contribution for this month's blog hop at Papertrey Ink. We were challenged to use flowers and for my card I first embossed the bg with the text embossing plate and then stamped it with the flower from Up, up and away. I masked with a bit of tape where I wanted my sentiment and stamped one from Signature Greetings. The button card is from the Button Boutique set which I'm falling in love with - so useful! I've used quite a lot of stamping on this card so I'm also entering it at Wee Memories "Stamp it" challenge.
Have a great hop!

Royal Tuesday Trigger!

Here's my quite international entry for this week's Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab. Just emptied our recycling bin and discovered this newspaper that I picked up when I was in France last month - thought it would make a cool background to this card - turned out to be a bit distracting though...
Well, I still hope you can see that I was inspired by the flag and the cake in the great picture that Cath picked for us this week - it's amazing how she finds such perfect pictures to trigger (-; your (my!) imagination! Thanks!

Hi!

Can you tell I'm in love with the new Paper Smooches stamps I got last week??? The cuties are so photogenique I couldn't resist making some instant photo pics cards of them! This card is for Paper Smooches May challenge but there are random drawings for Anything goes cards at Crafty Creations (almost 600 entries before me )-:) and Stamp Something (442 entries so far) - but why not give it a chance!!!???

Smooches from Paris!

It could be smooches from anywhere I just picked Paris since the border is from a magazine I picked up when I was there last month. I've used the colors from Embellish color trend Challenge with tags and it's also for Whiff of Joy and of course I'm entering it at Paper Smooches!!!

WoooHooo - It's Your Birthday!

Here's a non-girly Birthday Card for a girl - my niece! WooHooo - it's soon your birthday!
I've used stamps from Papersmooches  and Wilson Designs
I'm entering this card at PS, Kathy's color throwdown at LilyPad and at Claudia and company

Waltzing Mouse Stamps Waltz!

Here's my Masculine card for the Waltzing Mouse Bolg Waltz. It is also for my colleague "to be" Anders Frank who turns 60 today. Congratulations!!!
Anders, who teaches maths and scince worked at the Ytterby school when I started there 14 years ago - but we've never shared a class together before - but in the fall we'll take on 30 new 7th graders together - something  I'm really looking forward to! - It's always very fun and exciting (and sometimes challenging!) to start with a new class and meet the teenagers you'll be working the closest together with for the coming 3 years!!!!

Have a super nice Waltz, hugs Karin

Girly - You Rock!

Here's a card for a girl. I used inspiration from the beautiful picture at Ribbon Reel, "strawberry and cream" and the Really Reasonable Ribbons  "anything goes with ribbon" and from The Shabby Tearoom and Anabelle Stamps where it's Monochromatic, at Create and Stamptacular it is - all pink and I dry embossed the background using cuttlebug's polka dot folder, for the Lily Pads embossing challenge. And it would make a sweet baby card for a girl; Simon says stamp
