This time at Lawnscaping we are to create a scene - and there just aren't any better stamps for that than Lawn Fawn's. I still have plenty of ideas in my head but unfortunately not a lot of crafting time

Hello Sunshine!

KonnichiWa Everyone!

Konnichiwa means hello or good afternoon in Japanese. I was hoping it would mean sunshine to fit the challenges I'm entering even better, but think it works quite well anyway!
Hope you are having a beautiful day - No sun here yet, but I'm still on Easter break for two more days, with no big plans so hopefully this means some crafting time at my desk (-:

Today's card was made for Hero Art's themes ; Sunshine + shaped cards;  I've used stamps from their new super sweet set called Japanese Garden and for Create's spring card challenge.

I used the colors blue, red, green and yellow for the PlayDate Cafe, the bingo squares; Blue , die cuts and flowers at Totally Papercrafts, my spellbinders for the diecut challenge at One stop Craft and it also fits the "April showers bring spring flowers" at Simon says stamp and spring flowers at Cute Card Thursday.
+  the Anything goes at ABC dt

Hello Sunshine + Winner

There's a new challenge blog that I know I'll absolutely LOVE playing at - A blog called HERO!!!
For their first challenge they asked us to use our favorite stamps and I decided to play an old (Antique Engravings) and a new favorite (Flower dot bg) and created a shaped sunshine card so I could also enter it for PaperPlay and  Hero Arts Challenge blog too.

It is also a Sunshine Shaped card for Pile it on (letter S) and I've used my favorite cuttlebug for the favorite tool challenge at Simon Says Stamp. I'm also entering this at ABC dt where it is "Anything goes".
Also I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped me find some new radioprograms to listen to on my sqeezebox. I haven't tried them all yet, but will and when I have more time  I'll put the list together here on my blog so maybe you too can find some new favorites. I asked my DH to say first a date and then a time and the comment closest to it was:

Such a sweet card! Love the colours.

I recommend all BBC stations - particularly 4 and 5 for talk shows and 6 for great music!

Have a Cosy Christmas

I know - making a Christmas Card right in the middle of Easter Holidays is crazy - but for Lawnscapings Coloring challenge I wanted to make something where I got to do a lot of coloring and created this little scene. Hope I'm not disqualified!!
If you want more "springy" cards or if you are doing the Lawnscaping Blog Hop, please scroll down one post.

I'm also entering this card for the Household and non paperscraps challenge at Moxie Fab world. To build up this scene I used scraps of  insulation tape that Mikael was just about to throw away after having worked on our new windows. I discovered that this tape is actually much better than my ordinary 3d pads, for multi layered cards like this, because it is half as thick so the scene doesn't stand out as much. It was cheap anyway (-: so in the future I might visit his carpenter's box a bit more often than usual!!!
It's also for the "Favorite tool challenge" at Simon Says Stamp (I couldn't live without my large "household" scissors - they are the best when cutting out images like these) and the "Anything goes" challenges at Papertake Weekly and and ABC dt challenge .

Have a wonderful Easter, hugs, Karin
