Happy Spring! and Tuesday Trigger on a Wednesday!

HAPPY SPRING !
Well, I hope that greeting fits many of you, because here in Sweden that is just wishful thinking right now... It is terribly cold with snow and icy storms - I'm so tired of it and all I feel like is to be indoors crafting. But what do you do when your mojo is gone?
I know what I do -I  go straight to Moxie Fab World and  - Voila' - it's back!!! This time I found inspiration from this wonderful Tuesday Trigger picture .
I'm also entering this for the Passion for Promarkers challenge; Butterflies.
I used; Soft Aqua, Agua, Turquoise, Duck egg, Buttercup, Mustard, March green and zest green, Sandstone and Carmel and Simon Says Stamp's spring challenge

Wishing you all a great day, hugs, Karin

Ombre Flower and published card!

Today I have made a card for the Card Creations ombre challenge at Moxie Fab world + make your own embellishment at A blog named Hero. I was also inspired by the Hello/  spring card challenge at Hero Arts so the stamps I used are all from Hero Arts;
Graph bg
Layered Flowers
Magic of Christmas
Fancy Dies; Upper Case

To get the ombre effect on my flower I used Distress ink and layered on Tattered Rose using daubers. I used the same technique for the leaves.

I have a card published in this wonderfully inspiring issue that I thought I could share today too:

I'm also showing off my flower card at Oozak; Anything goes, spring, the catered crop  and I just saw that  it fits the color challenge at Play Date Cafe too (-:

Have a great day, hugs, Karin

My first DT card for TSG

Yesterday my dear friend and "colleague" at TSG stamps Vera Yates introduced a new challenge on the TSG blog - and it is a really fun and trendy one; Use Black Cardstock. I love that  - it makes the colors you use stand out and with my card I wanted to show just that even with the image I chose!!! (the downside is that it can be tricky to catch on photo - I had to brighten my card quite a bit to show the stitching...)  Anyway, I used a super sweet set called Every Child - wonderful images and great sentiments to match!
Inside this card says; Every Child is an Artist, the problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up!

Have a great day, hugs, Karin
