Hello and welcome to Day 4 of Release Countdown Week with MFT. I am so excited about today's post and I think you know why - today we are featuring two new sets by Torico - I know you will LOOOOVE these sets as much as I do  I just can't stop playing with them (-: I honestly had a very hard time choosing which of my many cards to show first (-:

The cat set is called bb-i-knead-you and has 7 super adorable cats and lots of extra images - so fun to play with!

And the dog set; bb-you-make-my-tail-wag equally fun and cute!!! I smile every time I look at this little guy! The brick bg is created with a new large bg stamp and I know I will come back to this one over and over again!

My Favorite Things: Release Countdown Day 5

Hi Everyone,

It's Day 5 of MFT Release Countdown Week, and I've had lots of fun with some new dies and stamps called die-namics-circle-scribble-flowersdie-namics-scribbles and ljd-circle-scribble-flowers;

As you will see in my upcoming release posts I am absolutely IN LOVE with the die-namics-inside-and-out-stitched-rounded-square-stax - so beautiful and so perfect for so many projects.

You can make these flowers as elaborate or as simple as you want - endless possibilities. For my flowers here I simply diecut, stamped and inked my flowers using inkblenders. The dots in the center  of my flowers were created with the small dot dies in the candy jar dienamics set. I colored them and then added glossy accent to create my own dot accents.

Complete product details, videos and links to all designers playing along with today's featured products can be found at the MFT Blog.

I hope you're enjoying all of the sneak peeks of these great new products that will be available on Tuesday!

Tokyo and a new MFT card!

I'm just popping in here to explain why I've been so quiet lately and why I have been so crappy at returning comments. Sorry - but we have spent a little more than a week in Tokyo, Japan and I never found time to blog. Today I thought I'd share some pictures from our trip. We had a fantastic time and saw and did so many things. I fell head over heels in love with this amazing city.

The famous Shibuya crossing.

How I miss to pop in to get some yummy pieces of sushi for lunch - usually just a dollar per piece...

... and this is what I Think I miss the most -  the view from our hotel - Grand Pacific Daiba. We stayed on the 27th floor where every evening there was cocktail hours between 6 and 8 - with panoramic windows and this view. It was amzing and I felt like I was part in "Lost in Translation" every night (-:

The Imperial Palace (photo - Ted Nömm)

The Sensoji Shrine

 Akibura - Electronic city and Odaiba ferris wheel

Toyota Showroom - Ted got to drive across his favorite part of Tokyo - The Rainbow Bridge and then the Statue of Liberty (!)

Our breakfast view of Mount Fuji

and Ted's birthday present - a visit to Tokyo DisneyLand!

And as promised in the headline I also have a new MFT card to share:

For it I used the super fun speech bubble and heart from Die-namics Photo Booth Props - I just love that the bubble has an outline too - it creates such great detail - especially when you make window cards like this. The sentiment is from the fun Friends stampset.

Sunday Watercolors: Coastal scene from Skåne

Today I'm sharing a little summer scene from Skåne - I've been practising waves and wanted to make a painting with some, of course they turn out better on the sketches than on the real painting, but that's how it is with this medium (-;

If you want to see more of my watercolors you can either click the "My Watercolors" button in the top list or in my Watercolors file on Pinterest; http://www.pinterest.com/peppermint42/watercolors
