833 Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge; Winter Blues Tim Holtz

Hi Everyone!

It is Wednesday and I am here with some inspiration for the new challenge at the fun and awesome Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge is called: Winter Blues 
The team is showcasing products from: Tim Holtz

This is my take:

How to make this card:

I started by making a cardbase and then diecutting a panel that I embossed and inked .

I stamped and colored the images using watercolor pencils and after I had diecut them I attached them to my card with foam adhesive.

LawnFawnatics Challenge # 186 Coffee, Tea and Treats

 Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share some inspiration for the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This time our theme is Coffee, Tea and Treats  and here's my take:

I started by making my cardbase and then cover the front with a panel diecut from  I inked the edges to create some dimension and depth. I added some diecut 

I then stamped, colored and diecut my images and added them to my card using foam adhesive.  I also diecut a banner which I stamped with my sentiment and added to the top center of the card.

I think the Whirl fancy leaf  is soooo beautiful used as decor for a wrapped gift like this: The printed strips make it fast and easy to add a sentiment strip or tag. 

My favorite use od this die; Diecut like this from kraft cardstock and with inked edges. 

This die is really beautiful used as a negative shape.
