First out I have a very summery card. I started by die cutting a bunch of the WONDERFUL DETAIL-MEDALLION which I inked using distress ink. to color. I spattered the center using DS IRIDESCENT-GOLD watercolor. then I used the DETAIL-PETAL-PLATE-Wafer cover die to cut my lovely textured panel (this die is just a must have - I will use it again and again (-: It gives your bg the beautiful pattern and texture you want wthout taking focus from your main decoration.
The happy letters are from LARGE-OUTLINE-HAPPY and the embossed HB sentiment is from UNICORN-LOVE

I LOVED the result of the card above and thought the black HAPPY outline leftovers from my first card looked striking on the bright bg so I made another similar design:
Last but not least I wanted to share a card that I had so much fun making (I think coloring is my favorite part of cardmaking) These Unicorns from UNICORN-LOVE are just the SWEETEST!!! and masking never cease to amaze me:
Not only does the UNICORN-LOVE set have sweet unicorn images - but the large Happy Birthday sentiment will be one of my go to stamps in the future!

ReplyDeleteThese are really cute unicorns I have to say, and I am not a fan of cartoon-y unicorns (I prefer realistic looking unicorns -- lol). Your card is beautiful. I also love what you did with the medallion die! I saw a snowflake! Now it's a year round piece and much more useful!!

The unions are cute... the clouds really caught my eye. Interesting how much of an impact the outline/border alphabet made... love that so very much!

The blue background of the 2nd card just makes the color of the flowers "sing" and the unicorn card is really cute.
