Mittens

This is the picture (top) to be inpired by for this week's Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World. Beautiful knitted mittens .- so I just had to knit a miniature one. Turned out to be a bit trickier than I had planned (-: because to get the right colors I had to use my Mouline embroidery yarn which, for those of you who don't know, consist of six very thin treads. And these mittens had to be knitted on toothpicks which aren't that smooth after all, so the yarn sometimes got stuck and made ugly loops in the knitting - but I didn't give up (!) and here's the result.
I used another of Maile Belle's fantastic sketches that she has designed for Skipping stones challenge. Can't help it but I'm still wishing for that heartsong stamp set (-:
It is also for the "Colors of the Season" Challenge at Wee Memories  where they want to see reds, blues and greens - and some yellow and orange too I hope!!!

  24. Your mittens are adorable.

My friend knits miniatures and she knitted little mittens for us last year for Christmas to use as scissor fobs. She uses long thin needles but I think her father made them for her.
