Was going to give up on this week's
Trigger Target at Moxie Fab because all I could think was; Wish I had that fantastic rose lace/ribbon I've seen beeing used lately that looks exactly like the pillow on the inspiring picture. - but unforunately I don't but late last night I started trying to use what I had at home for this card. No fabric worked really well but then I found brown silkpaper in my gift wrapping drawer and made the flowers from that. Think they came out quite all right so there might be more of those on my cards in the future (-; The card (obviously !) can be folded up and is then tied with the same kind of ribbon that I used for the card.
I love this, so gorgeous, the flowers are really pretty and the soft colors are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAnother stunning masterpiece I love the flowers.xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat flowers, Karin!! I love your take on this challenge!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those pretty flowers!! I have the "bloomers" (as you said the fantastic rose lac/ribbon) lol and I used them on my card, but it was a very OBVIOUS approach kinda now that I think about it, cause well they look just like the picture! I like that you made your flowers and they have all those gorgeous layers...great job with this challenge!!
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are just gorgeous! Wow--gift paper can make AWESOME embellishments!
ReplyDeleteWould you mind if I took up residence inside your brain for a week? I know that I would learn so much because you create an unending number of cards, each of which is special. I am blown away by your talent.
ReplyDeleteYour silk paper flowers are stunning! Your color scheme is gorgeous and your card turned out a beauty!
