Sunday Watercolors on a Thursday

Hi everyone!
I have been painting -I've just forgotten to blog about it! So today I have two paintings for you! If you've followed my other Watercolor posts you know that I've struggled with looseness - and still do - it takes so much time and so much practising to master it. I'm not even half way but here are two tries at least;

I used super talented artists Mulnik and Gintzburg as inspiration for these two!

Fox on a trip to the city!

Hi!
Today I have a card for Simon Says Stamp's Travel challenge. I sent this super adorable fox from Purple Onion on a trip to the city!

Let's Hang Out!

Today I'm playing along in A Blog Named Hero's  challenge called You're the (em) Boss.

I used Hero arts super cute clothes stamps on some magazine paper and stamped the bg with their awesome clouds bg stamp (I LOVE it!!!!) Then I made a cardbase ans trimmed and embossed a frame for them from kraft cardstock.
I used dies from Spellbinders (rectangle) and Wplus9 (banner) so I could enter it for Simon Says Stamp Die Crazy challenge too!

Sunday watercolors!

Hi!

Today I made a Hasse Karlsson inspired watercolor sketch on my cheap 90lb Fabriano paper that I liked, so for the first time since my New Year's resolution to start painting again  I decided to take out my good, heavy  Arches paper  which is a wonderful paper to work on.

But, knowing I was using my expensive paper I think I lost some of the looseness that I had in the first version. Well, to change that fear/aprehensiveness is what this year of practising is going to be about (-:
So to work on "looseness" was just added to my Watercolor -To do list!

Spreading some Washi tape happiness !?!

I have a couple of rolls but have never used them but today I hope to spread some happiness with my first ever washi tape card (-;. The tapes I used are from doodlebug design.
Just LOVE PC and Moxie fab world because with their fun challenges they constantly make me to try new things. THANKS!!! This one is for the Gallery Idol 2014 challenge.
The stamps I used are from Hero Arts and Mama Elephant

It is pouring here in Gothenburg at the moment so I felt like cheering up by posting this sweet and sunny pic-nic scene made from Purple Onion Designs newest release; A happy day. Don't you just adore them???

I also want to share what out park Slottsskogen looks like now - it is decorated because of a Japaneese exhibition at the Botanical garden andit was soooo beautiful (yesterday) It felt like I was cykling through "A happy day" land!

Sunday Watercolors - A winter scene

Hi!
Time for my Sunday Watercolor post. Today I'm back in my Comfort zone - landscapes (-:
I made a fast winter scene with some trees. The part I'm happiest about in this painting though,  is the background - I really liked how the clouds turned out - I tried a new mix for making Clouds that I thought was really nice: Burnt Sienna and French Ultramarine.

WMS May Release Day blog hop!

For my card I used the new die;  Stitched tag and the stamps are from Gift Card it (sentiment) and Dainty Doilies.

Edited: My tag was made like this: I stamped and embossed the doily with white embossingpowder on pink cardstock and then I diecut the tag with the new stitched tag die. After that I used my daubers to ink up the bg and sprinkled with water. I diecut a tagtopper and tied a ribbon around the top.

To celebrate this new release we have a blog hop where the WMS dt's will show even more samples of what you can make with these wonderful stamps and dies and if you comment along the way you can win a stamp set of your choice - you have till at one minute to midnight GMT time (6,59 EST)

WMS May release previews day 3; Folding tags

Today I'm sharing a Project made using and absolutely WONDERFUL new die that will be released at WMS tomorrow. Be sure to be there when the shop opens because I know Claire will be out of this one in notime (_: It is called Folding tags and is useful for so many occasions. The team were assigned different holidays/celebrations to show this and I got "Mother's Day"
What would be a more fitting Mother's day mini gift from her Needlework teacher daughter than a sewing etui for her wallet or handbag.

Today we are sharing previews for a new wonderful die from WMS called Stitched Tags. It is such a Beautiful tagwith the cutest tagtoppers to go with it. I know this will be a top favorite of yours.
