Missed my papercrafting stuff though and when I got back I had 2 new Newton's Nook stampset waiting for me and of course I was inspired - and in the right mood too - to play along with their beach challenge!
Well, there was one thing to complain about - I got spam on my blog the first and only time I opened it on the hotel computer. Therefore I haven't been able to return comments and have a lot to catch up with checking what you all have been up to!
Does anyone know how to get rid of unwanted postings in your blog reader - it's as if I'm following a German film blog that I've never heard of and that I can't find in my "following" list - very annoying!
I'm also entering this for the "Anything goes" challenge at Stamp and create and Make the day specials color challenge: I used the greens, dark pink, orange and beige from the B scheme.
Here are some pics from Tropea;
Both Ted and I found time for some painting
- will share when I have time to photograph the results!
Have a great day! Hugs, Karin
Hello Karin! This card is really adorable! I love the background paper you used! The coloring on the kitty so pretty too! I'm glad you had a nice vacation and were inspired to play along with our beach challenge - it looks like a beautiful place! Thanks so much for playing along with our Inky Paws Challenge!

What an adorable card! I love how the patterned paper looks like kitten was "splashing around" in it!! And how fun! Your vacation looks awesome, and I definitely want to see those painting pictures. ;) Also, what was the hotel you stayed at? I'm going to be studying in Austria this upcoming fall semester, and at one point I'll be in Italy, and that hotel sounds like a lovely place to stay! :)
ReplyDeleteWay, way cool background!! Love the vibrance of it!! You did an awesome job coloring newton and I like how you put the sentiment in a speech bubble!!
ReplyDeleteLove this card! That paper is perfect. Thanks for playing along at the Inky Paws challenge!
ReplyDeleteSweet card! NN stamps stamp so well, and clean up just as easily too! Really fun colors too. And *sigh* vacation...I'm waiting till October, so these wonderful beachy photos are exactly what I needed to see! Especially of that darling little guy! Bev
ReplyDeleteKarin, I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your vacation in Italy! I must admit that I am a bit green with jealousy...Italy...how exotic! I just spent five days in the middle of Utah (USA) at a campground with a little lake. As for your card, It is darling! Those background papers are perfect with the Newton image! Enjoy your last days of freedom before school starts!
