Sunday Watercolors: Hollyhocks

It is Sunday and time for me to share a new watercolor. This time I have some pretty Hollyhooks. I used a photo I took at Brännö last summer as reference.  I use Winsor Newtons Professional watercolors and Daniel Smith's extra fine watercolors. The paper I use is 140lb Arches rough or fine.

    Karin I can't tell you how many times I've attempted to grow Hollyhocks in my many gardens over the years! I think you've found the perfect 'growing medium!' xxoo
