Ch536 Create Your own background Tim Holtz , July 17th

Hi Everyone!

I am here to introduce a new challenge at the fantastic Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge is called: Monochrome
The team is showcasing products from:Tim Holtz

And this is my take:

I started out by diecutting a stitched square panel from white cardstock and then used texture paste and the beautiful Floral stencil to create a textured bg. I then sprayed it with a mix of green, gold and blue sprays I had on my worktable, but because the texture half dissappeared I put my panel under running water to wash it off and was left with a muted lovely bg where the gold stuck to the edges of the texture paste.
I then added some nuvo gold dots for extra texture before adding my other embellishments and sentiment strip.
