Hi Everyone!
It is Wednesday and I am here to introduce a new challenge at the fun and awesome Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge is called: Card + Matching Envelope
The team is showcasing products from: Altenew
( You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used!)
This is my take:
How to make this card:
This is a super easy and very quick design. I started by making a cardbase and then diecutting a panel that I embossed using the basic-plaid-3d-embossing-folder and then adhered to my cardbase with foam adhesive .
I then stamped and colored and diecut the flowers and attached them to the card. I stamped and die cut the sentiment and attached the sentiment strip to my card with adhesive tape. Last I embossed the flap on the envelope using the same basic-plaid-3d-embossing-folder as for the card panel.
Supply list from the Simon says Stamp store:
Ranger's Distress ink
Neenah Solar White cardstock (for the stamped and colored images)
Simon Says Stamp Ultra Thick Cardstock (120 lb) (cardbase and die cuts)
Jet Black Archival ink (for watercoloring)
Scotch foam adhesive
Xyron tape dispenser
Xyron mega runner
Glue Dots

Super card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, Karin. I love the colors you chose for the flowers and the envelope. The embossing looks wonderful on both the card and the envelope, too. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring!
ReplyDeleteLove the plaid embossing folder and the way you embossed the envelope flap also.
ReplyDeleteYour coloring on the flowers is gorgeous. Beautiful card. Thanks for the inspiration.
Do you remember that I have an obsession with embossing? Taking it to the envelope is an incredibly clever idea, Karin!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous apricot blooms so perfect for Autumn!
