For my watercolors visit My Instagram :https://www.instagram.com/karin.akesdotter.watercolor/ I most often use Arches watercolor paper rough and fine 140 lb (a few of these paintings though are made on Fabriano Artistico fine and rough 140 lb) and Winsor Newton's Professional Watercolors and Daniel Smith's extra fine watercolors. The brushes I use are from Winsor Newton For more exact info on materials, inspiration, inspiration photos etc. view my blogposts called Sunday Watercolors

Hi Karin, got here through Kath Stewarts blog from the North East of Scotland and I am so pleased I did. Your watercolours are gorgeous, it's something I'd love to do myself but try as I may it just doesn't happen. It gives me great pleasure to look at so many talented artists like you throughout the world on their blogs, thank god for the internet it has many good points. Your cards are beautiful and very inspiring, I am amazed at all the talent that comes from someone's relaxation time. I love it!...Trish
ReplyDeleteKarin, you are a seriously talented watercolour artist! All of your paintings are just stunning! Hugs, Anne xx

Your watercolors are beautiful! I am in awe of your talent. I really enjoyed looking at them.
ReplyDeleteSplendid!!! OMG I LOVE your paintings. Do you sell them? Are you in the USA? My daughter (much more talented than I) was an art major and I BEGGED her to take watercolor classes in college but she preferred weaving. I was hoping she would learn watercolor and teach me. I care nothing about weaving. I know it is an art form and I know it is nice but it AIN'T watercolor!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat bunny and the houses/roads are my favorites of yours, though it is hard to actually choose a favorite.
You have been blessed.
Just beautiful! Do you sell any of your work??
ReplyDeleteWow your work is truly amazing!

ReplyDeleteExtremely beautiful watercolour paintings!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazed by your talent!
:) Tack för all inspiration! Ha ett fortsatt underbart 2017!
ReplyDeleteWow! Your art is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHi Karin,
ReplyDeleteYour work is just beautiful! What tremendous talent you possess. I enjoyed seeing all of your work. I am not surprised you were featured by Arches!
Just found your site from a Facebook water colour artists posting. Your paintings are absolutely beautiful. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteKarin,
ReplyDeleteYour work is amazing and as an artist I can only tell you, you totally inspire me. Your style is exactly what I gravitate to and seeing your work makes me want to paint!!! You know, as an artist that without the inspiration the talent just stalls.
God bless you and may you continue to inspire others.
Very good all lovely
ReplyDeleteWow. I'm amazed by your watercolors. Great taste in colors.
ReplyDeleteLove your paintings. Such talent!
ReplyDeleteLOVE all of them.. I can see your talent growing..
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn your loose style. Have you thought about creating a you tube channel? My interests in various crafting materials and techniques are much like yours, never sticking to one thing. However, I was not allowed to pursue any art studies even though, when I was young, many teachers recognized my talents.
