Just popping in to share this little cutie that I tried to make into a watercolor. I'm not really happy with the result - I blame the cheap paper I was working on (-; LOL, but I really enjoyed working with those colors - it's not till you look closely that you discover that he isn't just gray, but has a lot of different, very beautiful colors ranging from yellow ochre and indigo blue to indian red!
I've fallen in love again - this time with Mama Elephant stamps and dies! I got my first order last week (shipping was super fast - only 4 days - which is great for beeing international!) and have been playing a bit today!
It is Sunday again, and I'm here to tell you about the new challenge at SPARKS (Paper Smooches). This time it's an Anything goes challenge and here's my sample;

Today's card is for two of my favorite challenges; Both Create and Paper Issues have stars as their theme this time! For my card I used Lawn Fawn stamps (Critters in the park, Critters ever after and You're a star) and dies.
I'm also entering it for the glitter challenge at Simon Says stamp (the Crown)
I recently discovered the cutest images by Wendy Burns; All Dressed up , and just had to play along in their "Use a button" challenge. I made sure I used some glitter for the Simon Says Stamp
Papers are from MME and echo Park. Buttons from BoBunny.
Today I'm sharing a card which isn't very much me:
Glitter isn't really my thing, but I wanted to play along with the Simon Says Stamp challenge this week too and when I saw a Beautiful card by Tasnim I wanted to try the technique she'd used, where you first emboss your image, then fill the different fields with glue and then add the glitter. My flowers were really Beautiful till I had the not so very great idea to create an inked bg for them (should of course have been done first). A lot of glitter came off during my harsh treatment but I still think it looks OK. The flowers and sentiment stamps I used are from Purple Onion Designs.
This time I'm here to share a card for CREATE's challenge to use hand stitching. The bird die is an old favorite from QK (Lifestyle Crafts). Paper from echo park and sentiment from Hero Arts.
