Sunday Watercolors ( - on a Saturday) ; Lemon tree

I've decided to try to continue to have a new watercolor to share on Sundays (edited; but was probably tired when I scheduled this one so it went up today instead of tomorrow - lol). Anyway,  this is one I'd promised my sister for Christmas -to replace an old one I'd made for her long ago that she had put up in their new kitchen - I didn't like very much so I told her I would make a new one.
I tried to use the same Picture for inspiration that I had taped to the back of the old painting - it was only 1x1 inch ( Guess my eyesight was much better then )  so this is more a new take on the old painting than of the picture...

If you want to see more of my watercolors you can either click the "My Watercolors" button in the top list or in my Watercolors file on Pinterest; http://www.pinterest.com/peppermint42/watercolors

(OBS - the paintings there are not only by me, though I wish because I've collected some favorites)

Have a great Saturday, hugs, Karin

I can practically smell the scent of fresh lemons! Our oldest daughter had lemon trees at her first house in Phoenix. Loved them and the lemons she'd bring home in season. Your water color is beautiful, and your sister is blessed to have you! Just love this! You'll have to take a photo of this hanging in your sister's kitchen; I know we'd all love to see it in place! Have a great week. Bev
