Guest designing for TAWS post #2

Hi!

And welcome to my second post as guest designer for TAWS - The Alley Way Stamps. I just LOVE their cool and fun stamps!!!

For my first car I used the fun Monster Mash set. I stamped the contour first and then I cut the Eye stamp apart so I could play around with the Eyes - I could of course have stamped and masked the Eyes, but I was too lazy this time...
The sentiment is from a great set called Out of this World.

For my last project I used the adorable set called  Flower Show  - to create this cute Little bookmark.

It is really sad, but Alison is closing her Alley Way stamp shop and sells Everything at 30% off. Hurry to get your favorites before they are gone!

Have a great day, hugs, Karin

My Favorite Things Design Team Creative Challenge ; 10 minute treats

Hi and welcome to a new My Favorite Things  Design Team Creative Challenge :  10 minute treats/ small gifts.

For today's  post we were challenged to make some fast and easy treats - and treats doesn't always have to mean sweets right? (to be honest I just realized that the guidelines for this challenge said treats and not gifts as I had written in my notes. Well, here are some small treats for those (wish I could say us...) healthy eaters.

I created some super fast little bookmarks by folding grey cardstock and then diecutting it using the stitched fishtail dies. By keeping the fold away from the top cutting edge on the die I got an easy open and folt type of bookmark.

I then used the magnetic sheets that I usually use for storage and cut small rectangles and adhered to the bottom of the bookmark so that it stays in place.

Hope we've inspired you to find time to make someone happy by treating them to a small but beautiful and handmade little gift.

Guestdesigning TAWS post 1

Hi!

I'm so excited today because I was asked by super sweet Chrissie Tobas if I wanted to guest design for the awesome TAWS - The Alley Way Stamps. I just LOVE their cool and fun stamps!!!
First I got to play with an adorable set called  Flower Show  - there are so many possibilities with this set

For my next card I played with the fun Monster Mash set. I masked and stamped and masked and stamped and then got to color these cuties. With this set you can create a 100 different looking monsters in no time!
