Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop

Here's my contribution for this month's blog hop at Papertrey Ink. We were challenged to use flowers and for my card I first embossed the bg with the text embossing plate and then stamped it with the flower from Up, up and away. I masked with a bit of tape where I wanted my sentiment and stamped one from Signature Greetings. The button card is from the Button Boutique set which I'm falling in love with - so useful! I've used quite a lot of stamping on this card so I'm also entering it at Wee Memories "Stamp it" challenge.
Have a great hop!

Karen, I adore that flower! Where did you get it? Lovely use of the Button Boutique set, my dear! I love the vintage quality the stamps, flower, and kraft paper give your pretty card!

Hi Karin! Beautiful card! I love everything about it. Love your sense of detail. And that flower is gorgeous. Handmade? It looks tatted, but I'm not great on those fiber crafts. Love seeing your work. Good luck with it in the challenge.

I, too, love how you used the flower and the button set...reminds me of going to the fabric store with my mother when I was a little girl and the appliques that I would sit and look at while she shopped. Lovely card!!
