Lawnscaping Bloghop! Spring Cards!

Hi!
WELCOME to Lawnscapings bloghop!! If you are doing the hop you should have come here from Gabrielle's wonderful blog. If you just happened to pop over to my blog today you can find all the details you need to know about the hop (prizes, hop order etc. HERE)
This time the theme is SPRING.
For my card I used Lawn Fawn stamps from the sets; Critters in the Burbs and  Claire's ABCs.

You have until Sunday, April 8th at 11:59 pm EST to leave comments on all the blogs to be eligible for a prize! The winners will be announced on Monday, April 9th.
Prizes:  Wonderful prizes from Sweet Stamp Shop Stamps, May Arts ribbon, CARDS magazine and Lawn Fawn Stamps will go to random people who comment along the hop!

Want an extra chance to win a LAWN FAWN  set of your choice? Check HERE for more information.

Ps. My own little giveaway  (you see the prize on the sidebar and I'll ship it worldwide) ends the 9th of April. All you have to do is suggest a radio talk show, radio station  or podcast that you enjoy listening to, (here in the comment section) and you will automatically be entered into the random drawing.and you don't have to be a follower. I just need the help because I recently bought a squeezebox (internet radio) and can now listen to almost every program/ channel around the world!!! I enjoy shows like Think, A way with words, Tell me more, All things Considered, Manic Mommies etc, but want something new to listen to too. If you know of a program/podcast you think my students (12-15 year-olds) would enjoy I'd be super grateful if you let me know!

The hop is sponsored by:

To continue the hop go to the super talented Karen Baker's blog; The Bald Draggonfly

I will enter this card for the coloring challenge at Lawnscaping and the Anything Goes challenges at Papertake Weekly and ABC dt challenge, and I've used one of my favorite tools - my cuttle bug for Simon Says Stamp challenge.
Have a great day and a great hop - hugs, Karin

A great radio station I listen to online is New Life Live (www.newlife.com). The host is Steve Arterburn and he's also an author of many books, including one that I consider my second bible "Healing Is a Choice". It turned my life around when I was deep in depression during my painful divorce. His show is about counseling and healing from all kinds of things (i.e. addictions, losing loved ones, divorce, self esteem issues, parenting skills, etc.) Hope you are blessed by it as much as I am!

Radio station for children that I know about is Family Radio and they have an amazing program for children on Saturdays--I believe it's either at 8 or 9 AM. I think the station is 94.7 FM

What a soft feel this card has...it's soooo lovely!!

For your PS: it's not really geared for kids, but I love listening to St. Louis' 550 AM, The Frank O'pinion show. They are too funny...they bill themselves as "the large morning show in the afternoon" 3:30 pm centeral time. :)

How sweet is this! The soft colors are perfect for spring, and I love how you've framed the image. I'm glad I stopped by here on the Lawnscaping hop!

I'm not into talk radio, but when I listen to Sirius online, I like their stations The Pulse and First Wave.

Katie said...

Oh wow this is fantastic! So far this is my favorite card.

Lisa T said...

Your card is wonderful! I love the oval opening in the front and the little scene inside. Your card reminds me of sugar eggs. They were big white eggs made of sugar, with a hole that let you peer inside at a little scene much like your bunnies under the tree. :)
I'm a fan of NPR, so I would suggest seeing what other podcasts they had available besides All Things Considered.

A radio station, I live in Mexico and I listen a very nice program about true values and family at 8:00 a. am CT at 155.5 FM and later on during the day they have classics like 70's through 90's songs, I really reccomend it and write me an e-mail to lucy_newton@prodigy.net.mx because I receive e-mails from a learning center that I think would be great for you!

I love the clouds in the background and the subtle white embossing on the card. Very spring with the blooming tree and the cute little bunnies! So sweet!

As for something else to listen to, there is a website called podiobooks.com where you can listen to podcast audiobooks (usually read by the author). You can choose how often you listen to it (all at once, one podcast a week). It's potluck what books you might like, but I liked the Trader Tales series. :)
