Sunday Watercolors - A winter scene

Hi!
Time for my Sunday Watercolor post. Today I'm back in my Comfort zone - landscapes (-:
I made a fast winter scene with some trees. The part I'm happiest about in this painting though,  is the background - I really liked how the clouds turned out - I tried a new mix for making Clouds that I thought was really nice: Burnt Sienna and French Ultramarine.

Now I am off to prepare tomorrow's Lawnscaping post .Have a nice Sunday, hugs, Karin

I think what makes your watercolours so lovely, Karin, is your hand with the brush - your brushstrokes are never clumsy or awkward.
My personal colour combo favourite (for skies) is Burnt Umber/Cobalt Blue - very much the same! Fabulous gray tones.
