Poor Cath , the host of my favorite  place for inspiration; the Moxie Fab world, can't go to CHA and to cheer her up the sweet and talented Lorena Canto teamed up with Virginia Lu to organize a get well blog hop for her! Lily Pad Card's new challenge: Patterned Papers

 

Here's my first post as a member of Lily Pad Cards design team. Today they are presenting a new challenge; Patterned Papers and this is the sample I made for it. It's my son's birthday next Friday - my little guy is turning 3 - scary how time flies. Anyway, I thought it would be nice with some cute invitations for his party on Sunday:

For my card I used papers from October Afternoon (yellow +image + banner) and Cosmo Cricket (green). I diecut a lace with a Martha Stewart punch for the fold of the card and the sentiment stamp is from Gel-a-tins.

PTI January Blog Hop!

My card today was inspired by the square punch challenge at Create, the "Spots" challenge at Stamptacular Sunday, the song lyrics to I Love You by Celine Dion, for Simon says stamp and show,  and the All You need is Love at challenge at Paper Issues

And it is also monochromatic for Sir Stampalot!

There's loads of love in our house!

My card today is for two ippity challenges; It has something new (I got the house stamps last week), something blue (houses), something borrowed (the embossing folder I used is borrowed from my friend Camilla and something old; the hempsting has been in our house for forever) for Unity Opportunity     and for the Hearts challenge at Get hippity with Ippity. It has paper piecing for Paper Sundaes.

It has kraft and I just Love those houses - think they are super sweet and pretty, so I'm entering it for the Kraft Journal's stamp it pretty challenge too.

Almost the best part with it being Saturday is that there's a new wonderful sketch at The Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge! I just love their sketches and know I'll use many of them over and over again. Have you seen that Anya has collected all the sketches in a file in the gallery - fabulous source of inspiration! EXCITING NEWS!!!

Today I have the most exciting news to share with you: I'm going to be on the Lily Pad Cards design team!!! Yippie!!!

Those of you who follow me know how much I've LOVED playing their super inspiring challenges so I think you realize how proud and honoured I was when Deborah asked if I wanted to join their DREAM TEAM of super talented designers; Vicky Papaioannou, Deborah Nolan, Kathy Racoosin, Lin Brandyberry, Nancy Krueger, Latrice Murphy, Barb Engler and  Virginia Lu. And as if this wasn't enough, another of my favorite designers will join the team in March!!! Did I say I'm EXCITED  to be creating alongside these amazing ladies????!!!!

Love Notes!

Create's (Paige's) challenges are always so much fun and so super inspiring! This time we are challenged to make cards with rolled paper. I started by rolling scraps of paper that I love but didn't really know what to make with them, until I saw two "leftover" baskets from another project and put them together and put my little rolls inside. Decided to make them into love notes for some Valentines/love challenges that I wanted to play in too;

Hi! This is my take on the colors at the Playdate Cafe. and Paper Issue's; "All you need is love" and the LOVE challenge at Creatalicious. I used stitches for Paperplay Challenges (stitches) and it has dots (purple frame + dress) for Simon Says Stamp challenge and  Moving Along with the times.

Tuesday Trigger Picture (See Below)  at Moxie Fab World and Chipboard Product Challenge at Lily Pad Cards inspired me to make this card. It also has spots for Simon Says Stamp and "Moving along with the Times".

3 flowers, 2 butterflies and 1 bird !

Hi!
My card today is for The Woodblock stamp challenge at the CLASS Room, and  Hero Arts "Hugs and Kisses" and has 3 flowers, 2 butterflies and one bird for the fun challenge at Create.
I used my brand new Classic tea flower stamp H5577 - I'm in love with it - so perfect for coloring and (the butterflies are from Antique Engravings) and the olive branch paper is from Basic Grey which means I can enter their and Simon Says Stamp's  "new" challenges too!!! + For the diecut challenge at Moxie Fab World  I used 6 different dies (3 for the handmade flowers).
