Hi Everyone!
I'm here to introduce a new challenge at
Lawnscaping. This time it is a One Layer Challenge!!!
With us this week we have two wonderful guest designers that you will love: Julie Ebersole and
Kari Webster
A few weeks ago I showed a tutorial for how to make a sweet case for your paperhandkerchiefs and for this challenge's sample I decided to make a card to go with it. A simple but perfect litle gift for someone who's come down with a cold and needs a little Feel Better greeting.
For my card and case I used stamps from Lawn Fawn's Flutter By, Critters in the burbs and Claire's ABC's.
And our fabulous sponsor;
Simon Says stamp!!! You can win a25 $ giftcertificate to the store YEAH!!!
Pop over to
Lawnscaping for all the info you need and to join!
Here's the tutorial in case you missed it at Lawnscaping.
2. Color your images with Promarkers or Copics. Cut
a 4.7 x 6.3 (12x16 cm) piece and cut another piece (the same size) from white
fabric for the lining.
3. Put the pieces wrong sides out and sew the sides
together with straight stitches.
4. Turn right sides out and iron.
5. With the patterned side in fold the sides till
they meet at the middle. Iron and then sew the edges together. Zig-zag the
seam-allowance.
6. Put your pile of napkins on the ”back” and turn
it right side out around the napkins (found that this is the easiest way to get
them in!)! Use a pen to push out the corners.
7. Voila! You're
done!!!
Have a great day, hugs, Karin
