Lawn Fawn CHA Winter 2013 Challenge!

 

 

Hi! Popping in to post one of my favorite Lawn Fawn cards.  You might have seen it before, but I created a new bg for it so I can enter it for the super fun; Lawn Fawn CHA Winter 2013 Challenge! I'd LOVE to go in person one day, but till then I'd be super happy if at least one of my cards could  (-:

 

For my card I used Claire's ABC's and Critters in the burbs - Aren't they just the cutest??? - Well I adore all the critters sets - all so perfect for creating sweet little scenes that will make the person who gets your card smile really wide. Hi!
There's a new sketch to play with at the Waltzing Mouse Stamps Sketch challenge. -Yippie!

Don't you just LOVE this sketch from our super talented Mischief Maker Jean Martin:

I fell in love with this sketch first time I saw it and I imagined I'd make something beautiful and romantic with lots of lace and bows and flowers. I guess that just isn't me because I had all of that out on my desk but then I start taking away and taking away - and ended up with this - I still have not accepted that it didn't come out the way I had planned, but I just hope you'll like it anyway.
Good thing is I really don't need to worry because only one click away I can guarantee amazing inspiration from the rest of the Mischief Makers and some of the DT's   + that's where you'll find all the info you need to participate and your chance to win a full set of WMS of your choice - go  HERE!

For my card I used Waltzing Mouse Stamps from Li'l Buddies and Fancy Frames. The patterned papers I used are from PTI and Prima.

Waltzing Mouse Blog Party

Hi!
Hope you are ready for some partying - I'm here today to remind you that you have 24 hours from now to make something with WMStamps and join the fun at  WMS bloghop - something I look forward to every month - can promise lots of beautiful cards and wonderful inspiration! On November 20 Claire will highlight a few special projects , as well as announcing a randomly-selected player who will win a WMS stamp set of choice. The stamps I used for my card are from a wonderful set called Vintage Garden - Seed Packets. The papers are from Simple stories.

I was also inspired by the  Fall/Thanksgiving themes at Simon Says Stamp,  The Ribbon Carousel (I used velvet ribbon).

CAS Winter Blues

 

The latest challenge at CAS-ual Friday is called Winter Blues and this is my entry. I used Hero Arts stamps for my card; Flower dot bg and Greetings for the season.
+ bling  I'm also showing this off at One stop crafts; Monochrome tones

Season's Greetings

Inspired by Shari Caroll's video for Hero Art's November challenges (Embossing and Bling) and Paper Issue's "Stamp it" challenge  I created this card:

 

I used the Hero Arts swirl embossing folder and then added stickles glitter. The frame is stamped with Flower Dot background, the tree is from Hero Art's Joy of the Christmas season, the girl from Holiday Dolls and the fox stamp is a wood block stamp called - Fox !

 

I'm entering this card at Stamping Sensations where the challenge is "Traditional Christmas", at Bunny Zoe's Winter challenge, Joanna Sheen's Cold and Frosty   and at Oozak - Winter Vibes

CAS and So torn!

My card today is for CAS-ual Friday's Torn challenge and for Paper Issue's "Stamp on it " challenge. I wanted to play with my new Lawn Fawn and HA stamps and created a little Australian - Welcome Baby scene:

 

The stamps I used are from Critters down under, Bon Voyage and the bg is Hero Arts Newspaper bg.

I'm just here to share a song I love listening to right now - I know it's in Swedish but I just think it's such a great recording and hope you'll like it anyway. It is about the good feeling of coming home to someone you love and about being there for eachother but also about knowing you take someone for granted and wanting things to be like when you were younger. I'm back!

So sorry for having been so bad at returning comments this past week and a half. I've been on vacation to the United Arab Emirates with my family and where we stayed internet access was super expensive )-:

We had the most wonderful time and I just wish we could have stayed longer. To come back from 39C (air) and 30C (water) to  a cold and rainy November-Gothenburg was NO fun at all.

Have to rush to work now but will be back tomorrow with a sample for the Waltzing Mouse Sketch challenge!
