Went to see my dear friend Cecilia at my favorite Scrapstore here in Gothenburg; CiLi in Papers yesterday and she gave me this really great 6x6 pad of paper from BoBunny called Liberty - beautiful matching red, blue and white papers - What perfect timing - YEAH!!! - Got instant inspiration for the 4th of July /Americana Waltz at the Waltzing Mouse so I went home and made this card.(would have loved to say "whipped up" like some of my favorite bloggers do - but it wouldn't be true - this time either...)-: ! )
For my card I used another of Tami Mayberry's fabulous sketches (which I flipped) at CardPositioning System and I made sure I included; Shape, Ribbon and Sentiment for Simon Says Stamp Challenge.

WooHooo got my Snowmen stamps today - it's amazing how fast shipping is from Paper Smooches. I had this idea in my head for the challenges at CARDS, Wee Memorie's and of course for Paper Smooches and I hope I made the deadlines!.

I used the stamps from Vintage labels 10 for the squares and the hugs sentiment is from Teeny Trees
I was so happy to find that two blogs that I'm very inspired by, Lily Pad Cards and Virginia Lu's (Stamp Your Hero HeART Out ) , are hosting "Inspired by" Challenges so that I could use this as a reason to say thank you to one of my favorite designers; Joy Taylor - her cards are so beautiful and so inspiring - If you are not already - like me- a Hero Arts lover - you will be after seeing her cards! Thanks Joy! I'm also entering this at Hero Art's Wedding/Congrats challenge this month.

For my card I used the Hero Arts Antique Engravings set and the "Forever" is fron the old Hero Arts F-set. Paper is Cosmo Cricket's Mitten Weather
For this week's Make it Monday at PTI Betsy Veldman showed us how to add texture with tissuepaper and here's my take on the challenge.
I used an ordinary photo, distressed with some PTI tea dye cham and stamp is from signature greetings.

Here's my entry for Paper Smooche's Guest Designer Competition. I've paper pieced the background using some October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket papers for Clear it Out and the super cute little dog is colored using WN pencils.
