Spring Rain in Paris

for Kraft Journal's spring cards and There she goes stamp kraft cardstock.

I've used shimmer spray to get the rain effect. The flower is the same type I made for the Tuesday trigger a few weeks ago - die cut flowers from 20 sheets of silk paper. Then I almost drenched it in spray which caused the "petals" to curl up - which I think gave it a really nice look and when it all dried the flower was golden and much harder than before - which was a great effect (and great if you're planning to send your card by mail) and I will definately be making more flowers like this for my cards in the future.

Have a great week, hugs Karin

A Yellow Window Card with Paper Piecing!

This week I combined the inspiration I got from the fabulous Tuesday Trigger picture with the paper piecing challeng at Moxie Fab world and made this yellow window card (my favorites!!!). The stamps I've used are from Hero Arts and PTI.
Unfortunately the colors are a bit lighter in the pictures than in reality due to me having to use the flash )-:
Sweden really is too dark this time of the year! Can't wait for spring to arrive!!!
Have a great day, hugs Karin

At Simon Says stamp it's "coffee and cream"
The stamps I've used are my favorites again (!) Heartsong from Skipping Stones and the paper is the beautiful Butterfly - Fairytale of Spring from Pion Design that Viktoria at PapperåSånt sent me last week. I just love those papers and it's been so much fun guest designing for them this past month! Thanks Viktoria!
OBS! I've changed the date to make this my top post if anyone is wondering why there are comments made earlier than ttoday's date!

Sunflowers!

Here's my entry for this week's sketch challenge at the Waltzing Mouse. I've used stamps from the teeny trees set and Compliments of the season.

Papertrey February Blog Hop Challenge

From PTI for the February Blog Hop: "This month we decided to dedicate the Blog Hop to scallops!  We want to see your best use of scallops, of any sort, on a project!  This can include scalloped borders, offset-scallops, stamped scallops,  scalloped mats, scalloped frames, layered scallops, scalloped tags or anything else you can dream up! You can use dies, patterned scissors or even circle punches in a row to achieve your special look."
This is my entry. Stamps are from Tiny Treats Christmas and Up,Up and Away.
I will also enter it at the floral challenge at the creative cottage, and my source of inspiration (the flower) was the sweet and oh soo super talented Danielle Greenwood - for the "inspired by" challenge at wee memories

Have a great day and a great bloghop, hugs Karin
