Sunday Watercolors; Oranges and tomatoes

Hi!

I'm here with my Sunday Watercolors post. This time I have painted some oranges and some tomatoes - mostly I used the wet on dry and negative painting techniques.

If you want to see more of my watercolors you can either click the "My Watercolors" button in the top list or in my Watercolors file on Pinterest; http://www.pinterest.com/peppermint42/watercolors - the paintings there are not only by me, though I wish because I've collected some favorites!

For both of these I used reference photos that can be found in my "For paintings" folder on Pinterest.

Have a great Sunday, hugs, Karin

My Favorite Things; Creative Challenge; In the Background

Hi and welcome to a new My Favorite Things    Creative Challenge; In the Background

Print

For my first card I simply stamped the cute Paw print bg stamp but for the second I played a it more. First I stamped my bg with the Beautiful Flourish bg and watercolored it - the hybrid ink is great that way - you can both watercolor and stamp on it without it bleeding. Then I covered it with gluestick glue and added a thin sheet from a  papernapkin and pushed it around a bit Before spraying it with glitter spray!

Sunday Watercolors; Acorns

It is Sunday and I am here  to share a new watercolor! Once again I've used the negative painting technique. I love it for several reasons - I like the result, but it is also very relaxing - you can't rush this way of painting, while when you paint wet in wet you need to get Everything done before the paper is dry which can sometimes be a bit stressful.

If you want to see more of my watercolors you can either click the "My Watercolors" button in the top list or in my Watercolors file on Pinterest; http://www.pinterest.com/peppermint42/watercolors - the paintings there are not only by me, though I wish because I've collected some favorites!

If I've used a reference photo it can most often be found in my "For paintings" folder on Pinterest.

Have a great Sunday, hugs, Karin
