Sunny Studio Guest post

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share three new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's summer release! You can shop them HERE and if you want some amazing inspiration from the awesome Sunny Team you should pop over to their blog HERE

For the first card I started by stamping a row of chickens and then masking them Before I stamped the next row and so on. I then lest my masking on so I could ink the bg with distress ink. After I removed and colored the chickens I stamped the sentiment.

For the second card I used wonderful paper from the new paper pack called Spring fling  - I am in love with this pack - so many fun and cute papers to use for your paper crafting. Several of them are like this one - paper you can use as a bg scene. Here I cut the hills and used foam adhesive when I assembled them back together on a piece of scrap cardstock to create a 3d look. The sentiment is from pink Peonies and the chickens are stamped, colored and diecut Before added to the card with foam adhesive.

My last card is so Beautiful IRL and I hope I managed to capture it on photo because this frame is soooo Beautiful - a joy to cut through thick cardstock!!! I simply made a cardbase from Craft cardstock and then adhered the diecut frame. I then added the sentiment that comes with this die set and finished off my card with some sweet flowers - These flowers also come with the frame die set - such a useful set.

Guest designing for Sunny Studio - Pink Peonies

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share Three new cards that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's spring release! You can shop them HERE and if you want some amazing inspirations from the awesome Sunny Team you should pop over to their blog HERE

For my first card I started by making a cardbase from White cardstock and then cut a scalloped panel using Frilly Frames. Next I diecut the Beautiful "quilt" pattern through a rectangle piece of White cardstock which I then adhered to the center of my card. This made a Beautiful, textured background for the wonderful peonies.
The peonies were first stamped in antique linen distress, then colored with copic markers Before restamping and embossing the flowers again with gold embossing.

I then made a Little flag - embossed sentiment from Love Monkey and added the Wishes diecut.

My second card was made in a very similar way, I just used dark colored cardstock intead to get a totally different look. So many possibilities with these wonderful sets!

My last card is a fun and simple design where I stamped a row of adorable chickens Before masking them and then inking the bg with distress ink. Before removing the masking I spattered the bg with gold watercolor from Daniel Smith.

Guest designing for Sunny Design Studio

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share a new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's summer release! You can shop them HERE and if you want some amazing inspirations from the awesome Sunny Team you should pop over to their blog HERE

My first card is quite fast and simple to make: Make a cardbase from white cardstock and then cut a bg panel that is slightly smaller. Ink the panel using distress inks. I used  Faded Jeans and Tumbled Glass. Then stamp, color and  diecut the images and adhere to card with self adhesive tape.

To illustrate the beauty of the new FRILLY-FRAMES-RETRO-PETALS panel die I added it to a cardbase made from acetate. I then decorated a smaller stitched diecut from the summerrelease Summer Splash  paper pad and decorated it with lots of lovely die cuts from Fabulous Flamingos

For my last card I made my own stencils uding a semi circle die and some cloud dies (FLUFFY-CLOUDS-BORDER). I then inked my panel center with a sunset sky look using distress ink: Scattered straw, lemonade and Picked Raspberry. I them stamped colored and cut my images before adding them to the panel with foam adhesive.

Guest Designing Sunny Studio: Sloths and Flamingos!

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share a new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's summer release! You can shop them HERE and if you want some amazing inspirations from the awesome Sunny Team you should pop over to their blog HERE

The sloths Silly Sloths  are just so super adorable I wanted to make a design where I could share as many of them as possible (-: They are so sweet on their own so I just wanted some leaves in the bg. Here I stamped the leaves on green cardstock before coloring which I thing turned out beautiful for this design. The panel is from the lovely Frilly Frames .

For my second card  - the Fabulous Flamingos  card I diecut the Frilly Frames  panel and adhered it to acetate with my xyron tape runner  before making my little flamingo scene on the stitched rectangle die from Wrap Around Gif die set  I inked the background to create some ocean waves ( tip- the new waves dies can be perfect for creating your own wave stencil) and then added some kraft cardstock for the sand.

Last but not least I wanted a fast and easy card design where the cute flamingo is the center of attention. I think this design would be perfect for making a card set with different colored inked backgrounds and then a new flamingo and new sentiment for each panel. A great gift for some of your non cardmaking friends!

Guest Designing for Sunny Studio - sleeping mask gift box and more (-:

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share a new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's summer release! You can shop them HERE and if you want some amazing inspirations from the awesome Sunny Team you should pop over to their blog HERE

This first project is a super fun one. LOVE Mendi's clever box design Wrap Around Gif die set  that closes up like two hearts at the top, no strings or adhesive needed to close this box. And with the perfect panel die and cute little tags the possibilities for cute designs with this are endless. Here I used the fun cloud paper that come with the  SUMMER-SPLASH-Paper-Pad
and the adorable sloth is of course from. My box is for a mini gift for my sister for her long flight to the Maldives later this year - it will hold a sleeping mask and earplugs so she'll sleep like a sloth there (-:

Next card is a CAS fast and easy design but which looks really worked at with lots of elements and texture.  My favorite type of designs. Here I used the wonderful Frilly Frames for the panel and the stitched rectangle is from the Wrap Around Gif die set and then simply stamped and diecut some of the images from the Silly Sloths set.

My last card for today showcases the super adorable Fabulous Flamingos  set which holds lots of fun and sweet extra images to use for your summer/vacation cards. So much fun to color and play around with for different card designs. Here I diecut a window through which you can view the ocean - anothe wonderful paper from the SUMMER-SPLASH-Paper-Pad.

Sunny Studio Bunnies

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm back to share some more cards I've made with Sunny Studio's Spring Release. These CHUBBY-BUNNIES are just the cutest for all your spring projects!

For my first card I started by spattering masking fluid to some off white cardstock before inking it to create a violet sky background. I then diecut grass using the lovely STITCHED-SCALLOP-Snippets. I stamped CHUBBY-BUNNIES and colored them using copic markers and then die cut them CHUBBY-BUNNIES-Dies. I then cut the FRILLY-FRAMES-POLKA-DOTS-Dies from two ways to create a customized frame for the rectangle. The images are adhered with foam adhesive.

This lovely CAS Springcard is fast and easy to make. I created the card panel bg by embossing it with the fabulous SUNBURST-Embossing-Folder . I diecut a stitched circle and inked it to create grass and sky. I adhered it to my panel  with foam adhesive before I I stamped CHUBBY-BUNNIES and colored them using copic markers and then die cut them CHUBBY-BUNNIES-Dies.
Last I added a banner with a Hello Spring sentiment.

With this card I'm playing along with Copic Marker Norway's Challenge
allt er lov!

My last card is made by combining 3 favorites from this release:
QUILTED-HEARTS-Embossing-Folder , CHUBBY-BUNNIES , FRILLY-FRAMES-LATTICE
CHUBBY-BUNNIES-Dies. I will use the beautiful QUILTED-HEARTS-Embossing-Folder
for many many projects in the future - it gives the bg texture without taking over!

For the first card I  simply stamped and diecut the LOVE-MONKEY
LOVE-MONKEY-Dies and then created a sky bg before adding sentiment and flowers.

I am in love with the beautiful FRILLY-FRAMES-POLKA-DOTS-Dies
and used it here to make a romantic frame for my LOVE-MONKEY window card. All my images are colored with copic markers.

Inspired by Jennifer McGuire's post about tunnel cards HERE I created this dimensional Valentine's card. LOVE the surprise element of these type of cards and the sweet LOVE-MONKEYs are just perfect for it!!!!
