Favorite Christmas tradition
So this card is about my favorite tradition - to celebrate Lucia on the 13th of December. It is such a nice start to the holidays. The paper I've used is from Honey Pie which I think worked absolutely perfect for Christmas too.
I've used sketch # 164 from Cardpositioning systems,
St Lucia was a young girl who was martyred, killed for her faith, in 304AD. The most common story told about St Lucia is that she would secretly bring food to the persecuted men in Rome, who lived in hiding in the catacombs under the city. She would wear candles on her head so she had both her hands free to carry things.
St. Lucia's Day is celebrated by a girl dressing in a white dress with a red sash round her waist and a crown of candles on her head. The crown is made of Lingonberry branches which are evergreen and symbolise new life in winter. She goes from house to house early on Lucia morning serving coffee and Lusskatter (buns flavoured with saffron and dotted with raisins) while singing a beautiful Lucia song.

Papertrey Ink December Blog Hop
For this PTI blog hop I've made a little window ornament and a Thank You card. The challenge was to use scraps from wrappings, presents etc and when Ted got this present I decided that this was what I was going to use, no matter what was inside because I really liked the polkadotted ribbon. It turned out to be a car in a box with a window so all I've used for this ornament and card come from this present.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Here's a Happy New Year card I've made for Cards and The playdate Cafe color challenge, and I've used the great sketch at Mojo Monday's challenge this week.

Pearls and Glitter = GLAM!!!
Moxie Fab challenge: Glitter is Glam + Pearls challenge at A Passion for Papertrey.
I've used gluestick on a flower made from satain ribbon and then dipped it in glitter to make it more glamorous!!! Stamp is PTI Birthday Basics.
Mittens
This is the picture (top) to be inpired by for this week's Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World. Beautiful knitted mittens .- so I just had to knit a miniature one. Turned out to be a bit trickier than I had planned (-: because to get the right colors I had to use my Mouline embroidery yarn which, for those of you who don't know, consist of six very thin treads. And these mittens had to be knitted on toothpicks which aren't that smooth after all, so the yarn sometimes got stuck and made ugly loops in the knitting - but I didn't give up (!) and here's the result.
I used another of Maile Belle's fantastic sketches that she has designed for Skipping stones challenge. Can't help it but I'm still wishing for that heartsong stamp set (-:
It is also for the "Colors of the Season" Challenge at Wee Memories where they want to see reds, blues and greens - and some yellow and orange too I hope!!!

For the color Challenge at Cupcake Creations I've made a giftbag ( a favorite of mine and I think I got the template at one of Arkivet's after work scrap events) for tea.
The stamps I've used are from Waltzing Mouse Teeny Trees.
