Karin's February inspiration on the Lawn Fawn Blog

   Hi Everyone !

I'm still in a Valentine mode and created this soft and sweet

I started by making my cardbases and then cover the fronts with  panels cut from the beautiful LIGHT BROWN WOODGRAIN cardstock. I then cut top borders using LACY-BORDERS
STITCHED-SCALLOPED-BORDERS from cream cardstock

I then diecut lots of flowers from different sets that I assembled and added to the card. Last I diecut the bow from build-a-barrel-apple from LF Gold cardstock and from a scrap piece of darker gold to create dimension.

Now when I need a card I can simply add the numbers for a birthday or a sentiment banner and I have the perfect card for (almost) any occasion.

Now pop over to the Lawn Fawn Blog for awesome cards from the super talented team - so inspiring!.

This week's challenge is called:
The team is showcasing products from: Gina K
You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used!)
This is my take:

How to make this card:

I started by making a cardbase and then diecutting a panel that I dry embossed using the wonderful Gina K petite-flourish embossing folder.
I then added that to a slightly larger gold panel and attached to cardbase using foam adhesive.
I the satmped and colored the wedding image using watercolor pencils and after I had diecut them I attached them to my card with foam adhesive.
I left the bottom card blank so that I can presonalise it using the initials of the bride and groom once I know who this card is for (-:

143 Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Show us Where You Live: feature something unique to your city, state or country

  Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share some inspiration for the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This time the challenge is to show us where you live - I am Swedish and here's my take:

The Dalcarnian horse is a Swedish icon:

I started by making my cardbase and then covered the front with a portrait-heart-garland-backdrop panel diecut from cardstock. I added gold hearts to the garlands

I created a heart flag using lacy heart stackables and window-scene-spring-die

The Dalcarnian horse was mad from the horse in the Hay There set and the letters I used for SWEDEN are from henrys-abcs.
