World Watercolor Month prompt #1 Strong and Free

It is Sunday and time for me to share a new watercolor. I am way behind on sharing the promts for Worls Watercolor Month. The first one was "Strong and Free" and of course I thought of Canada. I wish I could say I've been but it is still on my "want to go to" list. The ref. photo I used is from here: https://w-dog.net/wallpaper/canada-nature-landscape-lake-mountain-forest-island/id/312953/
The colors  I use Winsor Newtons Professional watercolors and Daniel Smith's extra fine watercolors.  The paper I use is 140lb Arches rough or fine.

For this painting I used the following colors:Raw sienna, Burnt Sienna, Burnt umber, manganese blue, undersea green, burnt umber and of course french ultramarine.

I also share my watercolors and cards here:  My Instagram
If you want to see more of my watercolors, you can view them HERE or in my PINTEREST FOLDER

Have a greatday, hugs, Karin

This is such a peaceful scene. Wouldn't it be nice to hike up to that stand of trees and sit under them and just take in the gorgeous beauty that surrounds. Wonderful watercolor!! :)
