World Watercolor Month - Day 20 California dreaming - Bouganvilla

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm sharing my prompt for day 20 - which is called California Dreaming - for World Watercolor Month :







I use Winsor Newtons Artists' (- Professional as they now are called )watercolors and Daniel Smith's extra fine watercolors. The paper I use is 140lb Arches rough or fine.

Lovely! The house next to the one where I grew up had a bouganvilla plant (a huge one) and you've captured the essence of it beautifully! Thanks for sharing! :) Does it take you long to complete a painting? You seem to be pretty prolific. It'd be nice to hear about your process for creating one of your beauties sometime.
