#623 Simon Says stamp Wednesday Challenge Make Your Own Background, Brutus Monroe

Hi Everyone!

I am here to introduce a new challenge at the fun and awesome Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge is called: Make Your Own Background
The team is showcasing products from:  , Brutus Monroe

And this is my take:

I started by adhering a page from a discarded book to a piece of cardstock and when it was dry I diecut a rectangle using the beautiful DETAIL-PETAL-PLATE. I then fuzzy cut one of the beautiful flowers/bouquets that you find in the lovely RUSTIC-FLORALS-6x6-Paper-Pad

SSS Black ink for use with markers
Copic Markers
Ranger's Distress ink
Neenah Solar White cardstock (for the stamped and colored images)
Simon Says Stamp Ultra Thick Cardstock
(120 lb) (cardbase and die cuts)
Jet Black Archival ink (for watercoloring)
Scotch foam adhesive

Xyron tape dispenser
Xyron mega runner
Glue Dots

Hope you feel inspired to join us this week! By playing along with the Challenge you have the chance to win 25 usd to spend in the Simon Says Stamp Store - YIPPIE!!!!

Hope to see you there!

You have until next Wednesday at  8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in!

Karin, I adore that Brutus Monroe pad... never thought to cut out one of the flowers - you are brilliant! Looks like I've found a place for one of MY OWN printed papers! Fingers crossed!
