Perfect Popcicles - Sunny Studio

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share a new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's summer release! It is a wonderful release - you can combine many/all of the sets to create cute and fun summercards! The Perfect popcicles are really perfect - I could stamp a hundred and still be amazed at how they come together and build a 3D image  when I stamp my last layer. They are fast and easy to create and will be awesome for so many different kinds of Projects. I can see them be perfect for BD cards and for invitations to summer parties but also for simple "pop by to say hi" cards. And the heratfelt wishes set is a must have - so great together with the wishes die - to create lots of different and very usedful sentiments - love it!

Sunday Watercolors: Rabbits

It is Sunday and time for me to share a new watercolor. This time I have two rabbits - one that I spent a bit more time on and one quick sketch . I use Winsor Newtons Professional watercolors and Daniel Smith's extra fine watercolors. The paper I use is 140lb Arches rough or fine.

Published Card Saturday - Isn't she lovely

It is Saturday and time for my Published Card Saturday feature. This time I'm sharing a card that was published in the issue 106 of Paper Crafter. I got the chence to play with some new stamps from Kaiser Craft.  that come free as digis with the magazine. It is a GREAT Magazine and their blog is awsome too - make sure to check it out HERE!

The flower is made from Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die.

My Friday Inspiration for Lawn Fawnatics - Zebras on the savanna!

Hi Everyone!
It's my turn to share inspiration for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This time our theme for the challenge is Black and White + Bright and I have made another thake on that:

For this card, that would be great for a kid, I started out by stamping and coloring three zebras from the fun set Critters on the Savanna. This time I used watercolor pencils.
I fuzzu cut them before I created a bright and colorful bg by inking it with distress ink: Spiced marmalade.
The sentiment I used for my flag/banner is from the cute set: Love Letters

Paper Smooches May Release #1 Mr and Mrs die

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to a new post with Paper Smooche's  latest release! I just love everything about it! For this post I have played with the super fun  :  

For this card I used the beautiful rose and flower stamp from the new New Beginnings stamp set. I stamped my pattern on white cardstock with silver ink. When that had dried completely I inked the edges with Hickory smoke distress ink and added Nuovo glitter drops to the center of the small flowers. I then diecut the n 

Mr & Mrs Words Dies several times from black glitter cardstock (DCWV), layered them and adhered to center of panel.

My panel is adhered to cardbase with foam adhesive.

A Bird's Life - Sunny Studio

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share a new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's summer release! You can shop them HERE and if you want some amazing inspirations from the awesome Sunny Team you should pop over to their blog HERE

I started out by stamping the adorable images from A Bird’s Life and colored them with copic markers. I then made a window card to frame my Little bird scene. This is for a couple who just moved in together but this set is useful for so many different occasions - this would for example make an adorable baby card, don't you Think? The dies and paper I used are from MFT stamps!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #4 Black/White and Bright

Hi Everyone!
I'm here to share a card for the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This time our theme is Black/white and Bright and this is my take:

I used some b/w patterned paper to create my bg and placed a cute border cut with the stitched scalloped border die.
I then stamped the beautiful butterflies from the Flutter by stamp set and colored them with copic markers.
I cut the thank You border and then adhered that and the butterfies to the card with Tombow adhesive tape.

Once again, I am in LOVE with Kim's new designs/products - the rose frame die is soooo beautiful and can be used in so many different ways - here I die cut the rose, separated the parts and inked them before assembling them again. When that was done I coveren the whole rose in glossy accent and sprinkled on some glitter. This rose is even more beautiful in real life than what I managed to capture in this photo.
The wonderful triangle die cut background is also a new die, available on april 2nd and you will se more use of it for the rest of my May release projects for PS because it is GREAT - adds texture to any project in a very fast, simple and beautiful way!

Paper Smooches April Release #4 Pineapple Thanks so much!

Hi and welcome to a new post with Paper Smooches  latest release! This time I played with the super fun  Thanks so much die  and Pineapple 2 die.   

I created my background by simly layering some cardstock in beach sea and sky colors and then diecut a rectangle. The pineapple is first die-cut and taken apart - then inked with distress ink before assembled again. As a finishing touche I added some brown lines with a watercolor pencil to add shape to the pineapple.

If You were Ice cream ... Sunny Studio

Hi Everyone!

Today I (Karin Åkesdotter of PeppermintPatty's Papercraft) am  here to share a new, very summery card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's summer release! This is an awesome layering stap set called Two Scoops. You can shop them HERE and if you want some amazing inspirations from the awesome Sunny Team you should pop over to their blog HERE

I started out by making a cardbase from White cardstock and matting it with pink striped patterned paper. I then stamped my icream from Three different shades of pink and then the cone from two different light Browns and then fuzzy cut them. It is so fun to see them develop into their 3d look as you stamp each layer!!!The ink and paper I used are from MFT stamps.

I then inked a panel of White cardstoch with peacock feathers distress ink and stamped the sentiment in the top right hand corner. I adhered the icecream cone to the panel with foam adhesive and did the same with the panel to the cardbase.

Guest Designing for Marker Pop

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm excited because I'm guest designing for one of my favorite challenges - The Marker Pop blog Challenge. They are Always so fun and inspiring!
This time their theme is watercolor and those of you who know me know that I LOVE watercolors and those of you who don't can view some of my paintings HERE.

For my cardmaking though I like to try different Products and for today's card I played with my new Distress oxides. I used Tim Holtz new stencil called layered stencil floral  and inked the White cardstock with distress oxide ink from Rangers.
The colors I used are Faded Jeans, Broken China, Peeled Paint and Walnut Stain. I kept the stencil in Place and then sprayed the flowers with water Before I removed the stencil and that created this Beautiful watercolored look. This was really fast and easy and very fun to make!
The hello die I used is from MFT stamps.
