Today I'm here to share another project I made with some of the products from the Spellbinders Shadowbox collection. It’s amazing how easy it is to make a card that look this elegant and elaborate! Here I simply made a cardbase and then diecut two rectangles from the beautiful Callista Rectangle Shadowbox Frame. The butterfly is from the set called Butterflies. The Sentiment is from Spellbinders January Card kit.
Below is a simple tutorial for how I made my shiny butterfly.
Below is a simple tutorial for how I made my shiny butterfly.
1. diecut the butterfly.
2. Ink it with distressink.
3. Cover it in Nuvo glitter drops and before it has dried sprinkle on glitter.
4. diecut a second butterfly ( - this time solid) from colored vellum
5 ink the vellum to get an extra beautiful ombre look
Adhere your lacey butterfly to the wellum and then decorate it with pearls if you like.
