Summer School Session 3 - Color Saturation

Hi!

Welcome to the third day of MFT's summer school - session 3 -  Today's lesson is called:

Color Saturation – The intensity of color. The more white or gray that’s added, the less saturated the color becomes. Cards tend to work best when the saturation of the colors are on a similar scale.

I took the chance to create someting out of my comfortzone - a card with high saturation - This is not a "Karin" card but I quite like it anyway (-:
I diecut the flower then colored it with copics and then soften it further by inking over it.

Complete product details, videos and links to all designers that are "teaching" today can be found on the MFT Blog. That's also where you'll find information on how to join the fun challenges for a chance to win some awesome MFT prizes!!!

Beautiful card! I noticed as I was looking, make that staring, at it, the flower colors seemed to be pulsating. I'm not sure if pulsating is the correct word but the colors were going from dark to light - very pretty!
